Today's publishers are very reluctant to publish short stories. Publishers who are looking for profits are truly anti-short fiction. Therefore new avenues are needed to save this beautiful medium - the short story. Matara Kochchiya was written as an experiment with this intent in mind. It is up to you, the reader, to decide whether this is a novel made up of a collection of short stories or a presentation of short stories through a novel.
